“A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away”.
That is the opening text of the franchise that CatBusRuss grew up on. His father is a “Star Trek” fan, so that led to a further fascination with those who boldly go where no man has gone before.
His mom did not get the fandom, but she enjoyed her European/British thespians who will take a paycheck regardless of how crazy, dare incoherent, a script could be. Thus, “Flash Gordon” was a pivotal film in his development. And then she found “Red Dwarf” to take the piss out of the entire genre.
As long as CatBusRuss is having fun, drama…comedy…give him a robot or three, and he will be entertained.
Science Fiction (ooh-ooh-oh)
