CatBusRuss knows there were movies about artificial intelligence in the 1970s. The first case of super computers that he can recall was in “Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory” when computer scientist are trying to use it to find a golden ticket. “Alien” taught us that we should all avoid Mother and other sorts with synthetic brains.

But, the normal person did not have to deal with computers, until the 1980s, when the personal computers became a thing. And with it came the Master Control Program and the T-800. Computers are going to end us, so consider these films as a means to prepare for the resistance.
