The nineties was the decade where the cinema became a weekly place to CatBusRuss. His siblings were all old enough to behave at the movie house, so his mom wanted to pass on her (limited) love for cinema with her brood. By 1996, our podcast host had obtained his driver’s license, and finally got to see the flicks that the stay-at-home parent thought were just obscene. By 1997, he got out to make his fellow classmate cinephiles jealous as he got to go to the R-Rated faire. This was the decade where he finally got to make his cinematic choices. It just being the independent boom was a happy coincidence.
If you have a crazy flick from this time and think that it needs more attention, send an email to russthebus07@gmail.com.
