Is there anything crazier than reality? What if it were more colorful and expressive?
It surprises me that animation was not the first form of moving pictures. There were flipbooks, I think, but the likes of Thomas Edison skipped the written word and went right to reels of photographs. Photographs that are tied to reality. Did the stories they told not get old?
The only American sitcoms that I get behind are animated. Actors are limited by their physical restrictions. Cartoons can change accordingly, hence, there is no excuse for the comedies to feel old. Unless they repeat a formula…Seth MacFarland.
