The Director Who Set the Standard for VHS Humor.

CatBusRuss grew up on the comedy of Jim Abrahams, David Zucker, and Jerry Zucker. “Airplane!”, “Top Secret”, “The Naked Gun”, “Hot Shots”, and when he was old enough to stay out late, “BASEketball”. His parents introduced him to these because they probably did not want his little brother quoting “Blazing Saddles”. And our podcast host feels a little bit cheated since ThePoeticCritic would info dump all of MAD Magazine movie satire they offered up. Now he is a podcaster, so he knew he was smart enough to handle the subtlety.
